Music Industry
The music industry is related as business industry associated with the sale & creation of music. The record companies, publishers and labels that administer recorded music products internationally. However some music labels are "independent,", but also others are complementary of larger corporate entities or also can be international media groups. The world music market is currently dominated by the 4 big record groups, Sony BMG, EMI, Universal and Warner, each of which consists of several smaller societies and labels serving under different markets and regions. The music industry is a term used to describe a range of businesses and organizations of music. The word "music industry" is used it refers only to the organizations and businesses that only, publish, distribute, produce, record, and market recorded music. This corresponds to the (ISIC) that includes sound recording and music publishing activities (J-59). ISIC = International Standard Industrial Classification. More about the music industry
