The Department of Music at Metropolitan State College of Denver strives to preserve the historic values, traditions and repertoire of the art form while simultaneously encouraging the exploration of new and diverse forms of musical expression.The department serves both the students of Metro State and the community at large by providing a rich intellectual and cultural environment through the presentation of concerts, recitals, musical theatre, clinics, master classes, lectures, symposiums and workshops.
