The Department of Music offers a variety of music degrees and a music minor, auditions are required for admission as a music major or music minor, it offers also scholarships available to both majors and nonmajors for participation in performing groups.
A variety of performing music ensembles are available to ISU students. Some ensembles are also open to community members. These performing groups include bands, choirs, orchestra, and chamber ensembles.
