Liberal Arts offers 30 major areas of study within eight academic departments: Art, Music & Theatre; Communications, English, Modern & Classical Languages, History, Philosophy, Political Science & Public Administration, Psychology and Sociology. Most of our courses are taught in the Liberal Arts Center, which houses state-of-the-art classrooms, radio and television studios, computer labs, the Miller Language Laboratory, the Scripps Howard Center for Media Studies, the Hamilton Music Studio, and the Mallette Studio Theatre.
