Grambling State University (Music Department)
The mission of the department has thus been to provide appropriate curricular offerings, individual required and/or elective courses, activities, knowledge, services, talent, and skills, which enable the university to fulfill its mission. The two curricula in music (one in Liberal Arts and one in Education) were formulated in direct and exact compliance with university objectives, and the majority of the courses offered in music are designed to fill requirements for music majors or minors, the remainder are designed to fulfill the stated needs of other departments.
