University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV Music Department)
Courses in Music are offered for the cultural benefit of all university students and for the training of those seeking a professional music career in the fields of teaching, performance, and composition. A number of courses are non-technical in nature and may be elected by non-music majors to satisfy university and College of Fine Arts requirements. Any qualified student may participate in one or more performance organizations. Membership in vocal and instrumental ensembles is also open to members of the community by audition or through consent of the instructor.
