Music at Alabama A&M continues to be one of the institution’s greatest traditions of excellence, especially the vocal and instrumental programs. The program trains students as teachers, performers, arrangers, and capable business professionals in music. It is organized at the undergraduate level as a General Music degree containing three tracts: Music Education, Music Education - Non-Teaching (with a concentration in Performance), and Music Education - Non-Teaching (with a concentration in Business).
