The mission of the Center for Performing Arts (CPA) is to train, develop and educate the next generation of music leaders. For over 40 years, UM musicians have impacted our world through their musical skill and committed lives as recording and concert artists, music educators, church musicians, and missionaries.Established in 2003 with only 45 music majors, the Center for Performing Arts has become one of the fastest growing programs in the nation, now totaling 250 majors and minors.
