Department of Music - Murray State University

The Department of Music offers the Master of Music Education degree. The purpose is to develop the candidate's qualities of professional leadership. The curriculum is planned to emphasize the investigation of important ideas and practices pertaining to school music, continue the development of musical skills and concepts, and provide opportunities to acquire both greater breadth of musicianship and a useful degree of specialization as it affects the music teaching/learning process.
