Elizabeth City State University - Department of Music

The Music Department offers the following degrees: the Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Composition or Performance, a Bachelor of Arts leading to Music Education Licensure, and the Bachelor of Science in Music Industry Studies (with a concentration in either Sound Recording Technology or Music Business). Music students matriculating in our Department have the opportunity to study in a small, intimate atmosphere, to work with well-qualified faculty and to study in an environment that encourages musical growth and music excellence. Music facilities include our new Fine Arts Complex building for Music and Art programs, laboratories for developing piano skills, MIDI recording experiences and theory/aural skills, an auditorium and amphitheater, and a newly constructed Recording Studio.
