Fordham University - Music
The music major is offered to all undergraduate students. It covers a range of courses that include music history, theory and performance. The program, which leads to a B.A., is aimed at liberal arts students who would like to study the history and techniques of music-making as a humanistic discipline. The program prepares students to go on to graduate studies, a career in teaching or one that combines music with other disciplines. As the music major can easily be combined with other courses of study, students with an interest in music might also consider a double major.
