Lake Michigan College-Music:

The mission of the LMC music program is threefold: to provide professional training which emphasizes music performance for students intending to pursue careers in music and music-related fields; to provide non-majors the opportunity to enrich their general education with survey courses in various aspects of music as humanities studies, with general electives such as applied music and ensemble participation; and to serve as a cultural resource center for students, the college community, the region, and the profession at large.
