Loyola University - Music Program

Loyola University Chicago's Music Program has one major goal in teaching music and its history: to enable students to develop and refine their modes of perception and to express themselves in a variety of ways. To accomplish this goal, the program offers instructionin various studio media and musical experiences from multifacted historical and ethnic perspectives. Since these arts are to be practiced in a larger society, the Music Program prepares students to gain technical expertise, which can qualify them to begin careers or to meet graduate school requirements.
