Both majors and non-majors ( B.A. in Music, Minor in Music) gain a broad introduction to music through performance, history, and theory in Principia's music program. The goals of the music program are to provide for and encourage artistic development in music; encourage inner growth, contribute to excellence in church music through performance and understanding; develop an appreciation for the rich variety of musical expression and thought (acoustic and electronic, western and non-western, applied, historical, and theoretical) to contribute to a greater understanding among peoples.
