The Department of Music and Theater Arts endeavors to develop and cultivate the performing arts culture of Shippensburg University students. By generating and fostering ideas and abilities which enrich the local arts environment, the Department of Music and Theater Arts serves the university community and surrounding region. The Department offers minors in both music and theater directed at nurturing musicians and actors who are pursuing these studies for life enrichment and career enhancement.
