USI - College of Liberal Arts

Liberal Arts offers 30 major areas of study within eight academic departments: Art, Music & Theatre; Communications, English, Modern & Classical Languages, History, Philosophy, Political Science & Public Administration, Psychology and Sociology. Most of our courses are taught in the Liberal Arts Center, which houses state-of-the-art classrooms, radio and television studios, computer labs, the Miller Language Laboratory, the Scripps Howard Center for Media Studies, the Hamilton Music Studio, and the Mallette Studio Theatre. You will have a tremendous opportunity to learn in these laboratory-style settings that can also help prepare you for the technological changes you may face in your career choice.
