Its earliest form, Rock & roll, it had multiple genres in the late 1940s and, it was first popularized by performers like Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly, who fused the sound with country music, resulting in rockabilly. Nowadays the Rock is a genrer very popular.

During 1960s, a group of British bands inspired on R&B and American blues became popular on both sides of the Atlantic.

Electronic

It had origin before of the invention of the synthesizer. However, all electronic music owes its historical existence to early pioneers of tape experiments called as Musique Concrete, such as Karlheinz Stockhausen, Pierre Schaeffer and John Cage, as well as early synthesists like Wendy Morton Subotnick, Jean Michel Jarre.
